OWS Purple: With the hope to expand the ability to show support for Occupy Wall Street exponentially, it is proposed that the movement adopts a color. If you combine the colors of the American Flag you get light purple. Occupy Wall Street is not anti-American, it’s ultra-American. It’s too much right now to separate us into Red, Blue or White. The OWS movement represents a mix of the 99% which is light Purple. To adopt a color also allows those who can't be at one of the occupations to show their solidarity and protest. Wearing the color will show the doubters that there are more of us that they imagined and that this movement needs to be taken seriously. It is proposed that we call the color “New Glory Purple” because it is the result of mixing of “New Glory Red”, New Glory Blue” and White.
